Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) chicken tenders or breast strips
1 cup (120 g) flour
2 eggs
1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs or panko
Salt, pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional)
Oil for frying or baking
½ cup (100 ml) Buffalo sauce (or hot sauce + melted butter)
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Cut the chicken into strips and season with salt and pepper.
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, one with breadcrumbs + paprika.
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry in oil at 350°F (170°C) for 3–4 minutes or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Heat Buffalo sauce with melted butter.
Toss tenders in sauce or serve sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
Adjust spiciness by adding honey or ketchup to the sauce.
Make it healthier by baking instead of frying.
Serve with carrot sticks, celery, and ranch dressing for the full experience.
